  • Detroit Red Wings - Listening to offers on both of their goalies, Petr Mrazek and Jimmy Howard. Rumours have swirled around Gustav Nyquist and Tomas Tatar as well. Have been linked to Calvin de Haan, Ryan Murphy, Mikhail Grigorenko and Jacob Trouba in trade rumours.
  • Edmonton Oilers -  Jordan Eberle has generated interest from several teams, including the Blues and Islanders. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is less likely to stay but has generated some buzz as well. Edmonton have been linked to Jonas Brodin, Matt Dumba, Kevin Klein and Mikhail Grigorenko in recent months.
  • Florida Panthers - A contender in the Kovalchuk sweepstakes. Have been linked to Mathieu Perreault in trade conversations, but Vegas may look to add him in the expansion draft.
  • Los Angeles Kings - Obviously hoping to trade Dustin Brown and Marian Gaborik, but are not likely to find takers (Arizona or Vegas appear the only options) unless the pot is sweetened significantly. Trade rumours have linked L.A. to Evander Kane, Gabriel Landeskog and Jonathan Drouin, as well as pending UFA Ryan Miller.
  • Minnesota Wild - Fielding offers on Jonas Brodin and Matt Dumba, with one likely to go before the expansion draft deadline. Have been linked to Evander Kane and Jonathan Drouin in trade rumours.

  • Montreal Canadiens - UPDATE: Canadiens acquire Jonathan Drouin and a 5th for Mikhail Sergachev and a conditional pick. All eyes on Montreal as rumours suggest Alex Galchenyuk and Nathan Beaulieu could be on the move in short order. Speculation also suggests Tomas Plekanec, Alexei Emelin and Max Pacioretty could also be available for the right price. A sense of desperation seems to be growing as the team faces to pressure to go deep into the playoffs. Have been linked to Drouin, Duchene and Cam Fowler.
  • Nashville Predators - James Neal or Calle Jarnkrok could be available as a result of expansion draft pressures. May look at adding a bit more scoring punch via trade or free agency.
  • New Jersey Devils - Have made it a priority to improve their defense this offseason. Listening to offers on the first overall pick in hopes of moving down a few spots and taking one of the top defensemen available. In the mix for Kevin Shattenkirk and Sami Vatanen.

  • New York Islanders - Seen by some as a frontrunner for Matt Duchene and to a lesser extent Jordan Eberle. May be forced into moving some of their defensive depth; teams are eager to pluck one of Calvin de Haan or Travis Hamonic of the Isles roster. Evander Kane, Mikhail Grigorenko, Jonas Brodin, Ryan-Nugent Hopkins, Ryan Spooner and James van Riemsdyk are among their rumoured targets.
  • New York Rangers - Many reports suggest they may look to move centerman Derek Stepan in the coming days or weeks - Arizona and Minnesota have been rumoured in the past. A frontrunner in the Kevin Shattenkirk sweepstakes, and a strong possibility for Ilya Kovalchuk as well.
  • Ottawa Senators - Could be forced into dealing one of their top defenseman as a result of the expansion draft. Dion Phaneuf, Marc Methot or Cody Ceci could be on their way out. A strong contender for Duchene, and have looked at Drouin and Landeskog as well. May have interest in Francois Beauchemin in free agency.
